Roger Garcia

Roger Garcia has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Roger is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Zazos, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Classpert from June 2020 to April 2021.

In 2013, Roger joined Quero Educação, where they held various roles. Roger started as a Software Engineer in September 2013 and later became an Engineering Manager from July 2014 to June 2015. Roger then served as the CTO from July 2015 to October 2018, where they played a crucial role in implementing technology to support the company's rapid revenue growth. Additionally, they took on the role of Director, K-12 and New Ventures from October 2018 to May 2020, overseeing an M&A operation and building a business unit focused on the English-learning market.

Before joining Quero Educação, Roger co-founded Expertte in May 2013. Roger was also a Software Engineer at SUNTECH | Achieving Intelligence from April 2012 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, Roger gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Peixe Urbano from 2010 to 2011.

Throughout their career, Roger has demonstrated strong technical prowess and leadership abilities, contributing to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked with.

Roger Garcia is currently attending Y Combinator, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, Roger also completed a Winter Course at Leipzig University, where they pursued a Hochschule Winterkurs.
