John W. Oliver

John W. Oliver is currently the VP of Research & Development at ZBiotics. Prior to this, they were the founder of Syntrophix, a company that provided contract metabolic engineering design services. Before that, they were a postdoctoral research scholar at Harvard Medical School where they worked on developing engineered microbial consortia, microfluidic cell models of the human intestine, and DNA design for unique circuits. John has also worked as a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Davis.

John W. Oliver has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from UC Irvine.
