Halvor Platou

Halvor Platou has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and research. Halvor is currently working as the Lead Software Architect at Zeabuz starting from February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at DNV as a Principal Researcher from April 2018 until February 2021 and as a Senior Researcher from January 2017 to April 2018.

Before joining DNV, Halvor Platou held multiple roles at Marine Cybernetics, starting as a Project Engineer from September 2006 to May 2011. Halvor then became the Technical Coordinator from May 2011 to October 2012, and eventually served as the R&D Manager from August 2012 to January 2017. In these roles, they focused on agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Integration, and Test Driven Development (TDD), and utilized languages including Java, Groovy, C/C++, and Matlab/Simulink for software development.

Additionally, Halvor Platou gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at NTNU in 2006. Here, they worked in a course on real-time systems, where they were responsible for organizing assignments for students and managing a real-time computer lab.
