Jim Zeng

Jim Zeng is the current General Counsel at Zeal. Prior to this, they were with Ciitizen Corporation from January 2019 to August 2021 where they served as General Counsel and CFO. Their responsibilities there included technology focused on healthcare patient data. Jim then moved on to Groq, Inc. from September 2017 to December 2019 where they again served as General Counsel and CFO. There, they were responsible for leading all efforts for operational excellence. Prior to that, they were with SAP SE from January 2011 to September 2017 where they served as Chief Legal Compliance Officer for the SAP Cloud & Business Network Group. In this role, they partnered with c-suite leadership and executive board members on navigating regulatory issues for all of SAP's cloud businesses.

Jim Zeng received their Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. Jim then received their Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. Jim is certified by the State Bar of California and the USPTO.

Jim Zeng reports to Kirti Shenoy, CEO & Co-founder. They are on a team with Vincent Wong - Tax Specialist, Grace Turner - Lead Recruiter, and Ritika - Senior Account Executive.
