Anneline Nansen has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research. Anneline began their career in 1995, obtaining a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen. During this time, they conducted research on the synergy between virus-induced cytokines and LPS in aggravating endotoxic shock in mice.
Anneline then joined the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at Copenhagen University, where they completed their Master's thesis and Ph.D. Anneline continued their research as a Post Doc until 2002, working under the guidance of Professor Allan Randrup Thomsen.
In 2002, Anneline Nansen joined the Statens Serum Institut as a Research Scientist in the Department of Virology. Anneline remained in this role until 2004, contributing to the institute's work on virology and virus-related studies.
After leaving Statens Serum Institut, Anneline joined T-Cellic A/S as a Research Scientist. Here, they focused on T-cell guided cancer therapy and large-scale in vitro expansion of human cancer-specific T cells. Anneline'swork included optimizing protocols and standard operating procedures for expanding T cells from HCMV positive donor PBMCs.
In 2005, Anneline returned to the Statens Serum Institut, this time as a Senior Research Scientist in the Tuberculosis Vaccine project. As a project research manager, they led research efforts and conducted studies on tuberculosis vaccines.
In 2007, Anneline Nansen joined Novo Nordisk as a Senior Research Scientist in the Immunopharmacology department. Anneline later took on the role of Principal Scientist, supporting inflammation projects by conducting relevant in vitro and in vivo experiments. In 2014, they briefly served as Team Leader of Team Monoarthrits, responsible for team management and as a member of the department's leadership team.
Since 2015, Anneline has been working at Zealand Pharma A/S as a Principal Scientist and project manager. Anneline contributes their knowledge and expertise to various projects within the company.
Anneline Nansen attended Københavns Universitet from 1990 to 2000, where they earned a M.Sc and a Ph.D in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Additionally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology at Rungsted Private Real skole, N Zahles Gymnasium, and the University of Copenhagen.
