Cortnie Yeoman-Vargas

Cortnie Yeoman-Vargas serves as the Deputy Director of Mental Health & Wellness at SPARK Learning Lab, overseeing the design and implementation of mental health support services for childcare providers in Indiana. Currently engaged with Zealthy as a Mental Health & Weight Loss Coach and as a Certified Running Coach with Run to Thrive Coaching, Cortnie specializes in holistic health coaching. Previous roles include Senior Mental Health & Wellness Specialist at Shine Early Learning, Director of Learning & Wellness at Trinity Church Wall Street, and ThriveNYC Director of Trauma Smart at the NYC Administration for Children's Services, where substantial initiatives were developed to enhance trauma-informed care. Cortnie's foundation in mental health also includes experience as a Mental Health Counselor and Youth & Family Director at the YMCA of Greater New York, and an Amenity Director at WTS International. Cortnie holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Crisis and Trauma from Walden University and a Bachelor’s in Recreation Management from Springfield College.
