Mary Sunshine Luna

Mary Sunshine Luna is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Recruiting at Zed Industries since July 2025, Mary has previously held key roles such as Lead Technical Recruiter at Clari and Talent at Sisu. Mary was a Principal on the Augmented Recruiting team at Ejento, and earlier worked as a Technical Recruiter at Rigetti Computing and Clover Health. Mary co-founded RockIT Recruiting, partnering with top VCs to build engineering teams. In addition to recruitment, Mary has diverse experiences, including managing an organic farm and serving as a Treasurer and DJ for Darwin Fish Tank. Academically, Mary holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Urban Permaculture Design Certificate from the Urban Permaculture Institute in San Francisco.
