Sucheta Burman

Sucheta Burman possesses extensive experience in legal and corporate roles, currently serving as the Head Legal for Corporate, Film, and Music at ZEE Entertainment since July 2006. In this position, Sucheta Burman leads content acquisition, syndication, and distribution for various network channels both in India and internationally, while also overseeing system processes related to content broadcast. Prior to ZEE Entertainment, Sucheta Burman worked as a Manager in the legal department at Essar Oil Limited from October 2001 to July 2006, focusing on legal documentation for land acquisition related to petrol pumps and franchising retail outlets across India. Sucheta Burman holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from JNU (2012-2014), a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Intellectual Property Law from Government Law College (1991-1994), and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Economics from K P B Hinduja College of Commerce & Economics (1986-1991).
