In Mumbai, we develop “legal tech” and “regulatory tech” solutions in the form of a modular online platform called “Zeidler Swift” to help the international asset management industry with their global legal and compliance challenges. About the Role

Experience: 2-3 years

Job Overview: As an Accountant at Zeidler Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and assisting in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal voucher entries.

  • Reconcile and verify financial data including customer and vendor reconciliation, transactions, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare, review, and process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.

  • Review incoming invoices and expense vouchers to identify any variance on daily basis.

  • Booking and reviewing payroll journals on a monthly basis.

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.

  • Should be able to handle cross-border, multi-entities accounting.

  • Should be able to apply fundamental accounting principles to the daily bookkeeping.

  • Should be meticulous and accurate in performing the tasks.

  • Should pay attention to details while performing reconciliation.

  • Excellent communication skills to properly report to the senior manager.

About You

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.

  • Should have basic understanding and knowledge of tax compliances.

  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Experience of working in Xero accounting software (preferred).

  • Proficiency in using accounting softwares and MS Office.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
