Venkat Rao Basutkar

Venkat Rao Basutkar has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Venkat Rao is currently Vice President of IT R&D at Zelis since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from January 2018 to April 2023, where they held the position of Global Delivery Partner. In this role, they assisted fortune 500 semi conductor equipment customers in their digital transformation journey by implementing various technologies such as cloud transformation, Agile/DevOps process transformation, AI/ML, business intelligence, data science, and robotic process automation. Before their role at TCS, Venkat worked as a Client Partner from October 2015 to November 2017, where they were responsible for managing customer relationships and driving business growth. Venkat Rao also served as a Global Delivery Head from August 2008 to September 2015 and was involved in large program management from January 2007 to July 2008.

Venkat Rao Basutkar has a Master of Technology degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems. Venkat Rao obtained this degree from NIT Calicut in the years 1995-1996. Venkat Rao also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sri Krishnadevaraya University. In terms of additional certifications, Venkat has completed an Advance Certification in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from IIIT Hyderabad.
