Brendan Kumagai

Brendan Kumagai is a Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics, focusing on developing statistical and machine learning models for the Hockey Research & Development team. Prior to this role, Brendan worked as a Hockey Data Science Intern at Stathletes, a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University, and a Sports Analyst Intern at Canadian Tire Financial Services. In addition, Brendan has a background in visual neuroscience research and has experience working in customer service at the Toronto Zoo. Brendan holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from McMaster University.
