Steve Riedel

Steve Riedel has over 25 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Steve is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Zempleo since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO of Riedel Advisory Services Inc. since January 2009. Steve also served as a Virtual CFO at Business Sherpa Group Inc. from June 2018 to January 2021, and at Radius Global Supply from July 2018 to May 2019. Steve Riedel worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Energate Inc. from March 2013 to October 2017. Steve held various senior roles at Brookfield Renewable Power, including Vice President - Corporate Finance from May 2006 to December 2008. Before that, they worked at Concert Industries Inc. as the VP Corporate Development and Procurement for a brief period in 2006. Steve Riedel started their career at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where they spent six years and held roles as Manager, Advisory Services and Senior Staff Accountant.

Steve Riedel CPA, CA, CFA completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University from 1991 to 1995. Steve also attended Gloucester High School, although the specific dates and degrees obtained are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Steve holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), obtained through CPA Ontario, and as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) through the CFA Institute. Steve also holds an Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
