Rich Wagner

Rich Wagner is an experienced banking executive currently serving as the CEO of Zempler Bank since January 2004, a microbusiness-focused challenger bank recognized for digital innovation and customer service. Under Rich Wagner's leadership, Zempler Bank obtained a UK banking license in February 2021. Prior to this role, Rich Wagner held key positions at Barclaycard UK as Director, where significant cost synergies were achieved through the integration of Providian's card portfolio, and at Providian Financial as Chief Operating Officer, successfully launching credit card operations in the UK and achieving rapid customer growth. Rich Wagner also served as Vice President at Visa, enhancing international payment networks and establishing partnerships with major credit card issuers. Rich Wagner holds a BA in Business from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Business Analytics from San Francisco State University.
