Robert Clarke

Robert Clarke has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Robert is currently working as a Software Engineer at Zen Internet since May 2021. Prior to Zen Internet, they worked at 6BDigital as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2020 to May 2021.

Robert also gained valuable experience at Blacklight Software where they worked as a Software Engineer from January 2019 to September 2020. During their time there, they developed projects for various clients, ensuring sales, customer conversion, and retention. Robert contributed to significant accomplishments such as delivering a project worth £1,000,000 and creating nuget packages for internal use.

Before Blacklight Software, Robert worked as a Software Engineer (Contract) at GoCompare from February 2018 to November 2018. Robert also had training with FDM Group as a .NET Developer from July 2016 to November 2018, where they gained skills in SQL, Excel, Unix, C#, and more.

Additionally, Robert had contracts as a .NET Developer at Northgate Vehicle Hire from May 2017 to January 2018 and as an IT Consultant (Contract) at NHS Digital in November 2016.

Before their software engineering career, Robert worked as a CSO at Leeds City Council from July 2015 to June 2016 and as a Trainee Teacher at Dixons City Academy from September 2014 to February 2015.

Robert Clarke attended Heckmondwike Grammar School from 2004 to 2011. Following this, they enrolled at Newcastle University from 2011 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Planning.
