Elena Simpson

Elena Simpson is a seasoned professional in supply chain and logistics management, currently serving as the Director of Ocean Operations for APAC & EMEA at Zencargo since February 2022, where previous roles included Head of SCM & Origin Solutions and Head of Supply Chain Solutions. Prior to this, Elena held the position of Supply Chain Development Manager at Kuehne + Nagel from December 2016 to February 2022 and worked at Allport Cargo Services as Client Manager and Client Executive between August 2013 and December 2016. Elena began a career in logistics at Sainsbury's as an Import Operations Controller and has experience in supplier performance management from a role as Logistics & Supply Chain Manager at Sportmaster in Shanghai. Earlier experience includes serving as Air Freight Manager at ATC Freight and Forwarding. Elena holds an MSc in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from Warwick University and has advanced language skills in Mandarin and English.
