Pedro Coelho

Pedro Coelho is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Machine Learning Engineering at Zendesk since August 2021, Pedro leads the EMEA AI/ML team to create impactful machine learning products for millions of customers. Prior to joining Zendesk, Pedro co-founded Cleverly, where innovative AI/ML products were developed, and played a significant role in its acquisition by Zendesk. With a background that includes pivotal software engineering positions at Beyond Pricing and Talkdesk, as well as early career experiences at Gruvi and Fraunhofer Portugal, Pedro has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive technological advancements and enhance operational efficiency. Pedro holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.
