Olukayode Akinbinu, HCIB, FCA, MBA, is a highly experienced finance and strategy professional currently serving as the Group Head of Foreign Subsidiaries & Global Market Expansion at Zenith Bank Plc since January 2017. Akinbinu has a proven track record in articulating strategic blueprints for fintech startups and enhancing deposit mixes to optimize funding costs. In addition to the role at Zenith Bank, Akinbinu is a board advisor for Terawork and the Veblen Directors Programme, focusing on empowering African talents and promoting ESG practices. Previous experience includes senior roles at PwC across multiple regions, where Akinbinu led audits for major banks and contributed to significant thought leadership in the Nigerian banking sector.
