Jake Thompson

Jake Thompson has a long and varied career in technology. Jake began as a Junior Systems Support at Sugilase in 1995, then worked as a Network Support Engineer at Brandeis University. In 1996, they moved on to Z-Tech Associates as a Senior Consultant. In 1998, they took a role as a Systems Administrator at Thomson Financial, then worked as a Software Engineer at Ardais in 1999. That same year, they also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Allez Software, where they consulted on a biotech pathology system and developed an in-house biotech tracking system. In 2003, they joined EnerNOC as Director of EnerNOC Labs and Chief Technologist. During their time there, they held various roles, including Data Platform Senior Manager, Data Platform Manager, Rapid Application Development Manager, Big Data and Analytics Manager, Manager of Advanced Technology, Manager of Research and Development, Systems Architect, and Principal Software Engineer. In 2015, they became CTO & Founder of Zenlist.

Jake Thompson attended Brandeis University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. Jake then returned to Brandeis University from 1999 to 2000 to receive a Master of Arts in Computer Science.
