Sebastian Castro

Sebastian Castro has a diverse range of experience in the field of DevOps and infrastructure engineering. Sebastian currently works as an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer at Zenpli, where they contribute to the development and improvement of their identity verification and decisioning platform. Prior to this, they served as a Platform Technical Leader at La Haus, overseeing technical operations. Sebastian also worked as a DevOps Leader at Addi, where they built their lending infrastructure from the ground up and implemented various AWS services. Sebastian has previously held positions as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Prodigious Latin America, a Semisenior DevOps Engineer at ClickDelivery, and a SysAdmin I at Mediastream SpA. Sebastian also gained experience in server administration and development as a Servers Administrator and Developer Intern at EMCALI - Telecomunicaciones. Sebastian started their career as a Monitor - SYRI Operations at Universidad Icesi, where they supported and maintained the university's computer rooms. Throughout their career, Sebastian has demonstrated strong skills in cloud computing, AWS services, infrastructure deployment, observability, and database management.

Sebastian Castro has a diverse education history. Sebastian obtained a Master's degree in DevOps and Cloud computing from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2021 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Telematic Engineering at the Universidad ICESI from 2011 to 2016.

Furthermore, Sebastian attended the Instituto Técnico Industrial San Juan Bosco from 1999 to 2010, where they gained a degree as a Mechanical and architectural drawing technician during their high school years.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastian has also obtained certifications in the field of cloud computing and web services. Sebastian completed the "AWS Technical Essentials" certification offered by Amazon Web Services in July 2016. Later, in July 2018, they achieved the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from the same institution.
