Brian Lee has worked in various roles since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Coordinator for International Relations at Kizugawa City Hall - JET Program. During this role, they proposed and worked with the city's public relations and civic affairs divisions to create the city's first English and Chinese web pages with 10000+ views, as well as the city's first English and Mandarin living guide. Brian also answered foreign language inquiries, proposed and operated over 30 events for international cultural understanding. In 2016, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the President at \u30a2\u30af\u30a2\u682a\u5f0f\u4f1a\u793e. During this role, they hosted cross-functional team meetings, interpreted and integrated discussions into scalable, trackable resolutions, followed up on project progress for further meetings, drafted company-wide and large-scale event presentations including biannual strategy realignment announcements and dealer conferences, and co-edited the company newsletter TSUKURU (Japanese/Chinese, circulation: 630, biweekly). Lastly, in 2022, they began working as a Technical Project Manager at Zenport Inc.
Brian Lee has a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2012. Brian also obtained a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test - N1 certification from The Japan Foundation in January of 2012. In 2010-2011, they attended Doshisha University for a study abroad program, studying Japanese Language and Literature. Currently, Brian is enrolled at Code Chrysalis for a Computer Software Engineering program, expected to be completed in 2022.
