René Barranco

René Barranco has over 19 years of work experience. René began their career in 2001 as a Software Development Engineer In Test at Microsoft's Visual Studio in the Developer Division. René then moved to the Visual Studio Update team, and later to the Media Center team in the Windows Division. In 2015, René joined Mattermark as Lead Software Engineer, where they were responsible for QA, software development, and engineering lead roles. In 2017, they joined FullContact Inc. as Senior Software Engineer II, where they worked on the leading identity resolution and insights platform. In 2018, they became Lead Engineer at Zenput, and in 2019 they became Owner and Head Alchemist at Element Bar and Restaurant.

René Barranco attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science.
