Emil Westenius

Emil Westenius is an experienced software developer currently employed at Zenseact since October 2020. Prior to this role, Emil worked as a software engineer at HiQ from September 2018 to October 2020, and also as a software engineer consultant specializing in autonomous vehicles for Scania Group during the same period. Emil's expertise includes developing motion planning algorithms and model-based control systems, honed during a role at AVL in Sweden from September 2017 to August 2018. Emil also completed a master's thesis project at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, focusing on automated entry systems using advanced technologies, and gained early experience as a technology consultant intern at Accenture in 2016. Emil's career began with various roles, including working in logistics and serving as a military police squad leader. Emil holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics with a focus on Control Theory from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
