Chad Hopkins

Chad Hopkins has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Chad started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Kansas in 2002 and worked there until 2007. Chad then moved to the University of Pittsburgh as a Postdoctoral Associate from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they joined OPKO Pharmaceuticals, LLC as a Senior Staff Scientist, where they led a team and was responsible for coordinating projects in the chemistry division. From 2013 to 2022, Chad worked at Kalyra Pharmaceuticals, holding positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Preclinical Research and Development. Since 2014, they have been working at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, where they have held various roles, including Senior Director of Preclinical Research and Development. Overall, Chad Hopkins has a strong background in preclinical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.

Chad Hopkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mississippi State University, attending from 1999 to 2001. Chad later pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry at The University of Kansas, studying from 2001 to 2007.
