Jianguo Cao

Jianguo Cao has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in scientific and managerial roles. JIANGUO is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Samumed, LLC where they held the positions of Senior Manager from January 2019 to March 2020 and Project Lead from January 2016 to December 2018. JIANGUO also worked as a Senior Scientist at Samumed LLC from January 2014 to December 2015, and as a Senior Scientist at CalciMedica Inc from May 2008 to November 2013. Before that, they worked as a Scientist at TargeGen, Inc. from March 2004 to December 2009 and at Targegen from 2004 to 2008. Jianguo Cao started their career as a Research Chemist at MetaProbe from September 2001 to February 2004. JIANGUO obtained their graduate degree as a student at UCLA from 1997 to 2001 and was a Visitor at the University of Birmingham in 1996.

Jianguo Cao earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UCLA, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Nanjing University, where they studied between 1985 and 1988.
