Nandini Molden

Nandini (Sakurikar) Molden has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Nandini currently holds the position of Director, Translational Science at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Genentech from 2017 to 2023, where they held various roles including Clinical Biomarker Operations Leader, Companion Diagnostics (CDx) Rotation, Senior Biomarker Operations Manager, and Clinical Biomarker Operations Manager.

Before their time at Genentech, Nandini worked as a Scientific Manager at LakePharma, Inc. from November 2016 to September 2017. Nandini also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dartmouth College, where they investigated signaling mechanisms and biomarkers related to DNA damage repair protein inhibitors from 2013 to 2016.

Nandini's career began as a Ph.D. graduate student in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where they researched prolonged Cdk1 activation during mitotic arrest and mitotic death. Nandini also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Care Institute of Medical Sciences, where they focused on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and performed immunoassays to study endocrinal hormone expression in patients.

Nandini (Sakurikar) Molden received an MS degree in Microbiology from Osmania University from 2005 to 2007. Nandini later pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 2008 to 2013.
