Jan Stach

Jan Stach has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as an API Solutions Manager at Zentiva since May 2004, focusing on the sourcing of APIs and chemical intermediates for development. Before this role, Jan held various positions such as Senior Scientist, Group Head, and Senior Development Chemist, Project Leader, where responsibilities included the development of novel synthetic strategies and project coordination from laboratory to validation. Prior to Zentiva, Jan worked at Léčiva as a Development Chemist, managing API development from laboratory to industrial scale and overseeing technology transfer. Jan began a career in research at the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals CAS, where the development of new dechlorination methods for PCBs and PCDDs was a key focus. Jan holds a degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pardubice, completed in 1995.
