Art Borrego

Art Borrego has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Art started their career at IBM in 1987 as a Software Engineer and later became a Product Manager, working with IBM teams in various countries. In 1995, they co-founded Team Tech, a company focused on designing web-enabled enterprise applications, and achieved significant growth and success. From 2002 to 2015, they served as the CEO and Head of SW Engineering at Alliance Tech, a market leader in event technology and customer experience data analytics, working with notable enterprise accounts. Art then joined Cvent as the Vice President of Sales Leadership - Strategic Accounts, leading and mentoring teams, achieving significant account growth, and overseeing regional offices. Since 2020, Art has been working as a Mentor, Advisor, and Angel Investor at Avantogy, where they provide strategic growth plans and leverages their experience, knowledge, and network. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Sales and Partnerships at Zenus, Inc., where they are responsible for utilizing ethical AI technology to provide audience analytics to marketing professionals.

Art Borrego attended The University of Texas at El Paso from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they pursued Executive development and Leadership at IBM from 1994 to 1995, focusing on Business Management.
