Abid Hasan

Abid Hasan has worked in various capacities since 2005. Abid started their career as a Program Officer at Aga Khan University in 2005. In 2007, they joined DawnNews TV as a Reporter, Producer and Host. In 2011, they moved to Geo Tv Network as a Reporter where they reported on current affairs in Pakistan, specifically Karachi. In 2013, they joined UNICEF as a Communications Specialist where they established the Emergency Operation Centre for Polio, Govt. of Sindh as the sole credible source of information on polio. In 2022, they joined Zenysis Technologies as a Project Manager where they are managing the Pakistan Project which involves handling client-relations specifically with the Expanded Programme on Immunization and Emergency Operation Centre for Polio.

Abid Hasan obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sociology and Development Studies from the University of Sussex between 2002 and 2005. Abid then went on to pursue an MSc in Development and Planning at UCL between 2006 and 2007, with a focus on Urban Economics.
