Kostas Stamatiou

Kostas Stamatiou is a highly experienced engineer and consultant, currently serving as the Lead Engineer and Co-Founder at Zephr.xyz, focusing on improving GPS technology for mobile devices and wearables. As the owner and Lead Consultant at Kostas Stamatiou Consulting, LLC, Kostas offers machine learning consulting services, specializing in end-to-end computer vision solutions across various industries. Previously, Kostas co-founded BlueSky Resources, LLC, where efforts were directed towards providing data and analytics to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At DigitalGlobe, roles included Senior Manager of the Analytics and Applied Artificial Intelligence Group, where Kostas spearheaded innovative AI applications for imagery enhancement, as well as managerial positions in data science. Academic contributions include research on energy-efficient data transmission and underwater communication protocols, complemented by a PhD and MSc in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego.
