Emily Vucic

Emily Vucic serves as the Associate Director of Research Science and Principal Research Scientist at Zephyr AI since October 2021. Previously, Vucic was a Global Talent Fellow in Molecular Biology at Open Avenues Foundation from October 2021 to October 2022, focusing on educating underrepresented student populations in the U.S. Vucic's past experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at NYU Langone Health from 2015 to 2021 and various roles at the British Columbia Cancer Research Centre from 2003 to 2014, including Doctoral Student and Research Technician. Vucic earned a PhD in Cancer Genetics from The University of British Columbia and holds a BSc in Cell Biology and Genetics as well as an Associate's degree in Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology from Camosun College.
