Shaya Zihajehzadeh

Shaya Zihajehzadeh is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in algorithm development and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Algorithm Developer at Zepp Health since January 2022, Shaya previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at FORM from June 2017 to January 2022, and contributed as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and PhD Candidate at Simon Fraser University from January 2013 to April 2017. Research focused on creating an accurate human motion capture system utilizing inertial sensors, GPS, and UWB technology. Additionally, Shaya has experience as a part-time Research and Development Intern at Recon Instruments and an R&D Engineer at Foolad Technic International Engineering Co., as well as a Research Assistant while pursuing a Master’s degree at Amirkabir University of Technology. Educational achievements include a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Simon Fraser University, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics from Amirkabir University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Control from Isfahan University of Technology.
