Paul Ellis

Paul Ellis currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Leeds Library and as Board Chair at Zero Fintech, both since mid-2023. Previously, Paul held the position of Chief Executive at Ecology Building Society from December 1995 to April 2022, focusing on environmentally informed lending policies and ethical finance options, as well as promoting social housing and sustainable communities. Paul also served as Director at MUTUAL VISION from June 2004 to December 2019, contributing to the provision of software and services for building societies and small banks. Educationally, Paul holds an M.Sc. in European Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA (Hons) in History and Politics from the University of Hull.
