Chantal Stekelenburg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chantal began their career as an Interaction Design intern at Het Financieele Dagblad, where they focused on creating the iPad version of the weekly magazine FD Persoonlijk. Following this, they joined CoolSafety as a User Experience Designer, where they worked on online marketing and user experience design. During their time at CoolSafety, they also conducted a thesis project for Easy e-Sales, addressing issues related to ordering products from multiple categories.

Chantal then transitioned to the field of cybersecurity, co-founding the Women In Cybersecurity Community Association. In this role, they served as the Chief Infosec Stickers Officer and played a key role in the organization's establishment. Chantal also became a member of the Supervisory Board at the Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure.

Continuing their cybersecurity journey, Chantal joined Politie Nederland as a Cyberspecial. In this position, they supported their police officer colleagues in recording cybercrime-related reports and assisted with digital investigations.

Chantal's expertise in cybersecurity led their to their current role as the Head of Researchers at Zerocopter. In this position, they take care of the company's community of researchers and represents their interests within the organization. Chantal focuses on supporting and coaching the current researcher community while also nurturing its growth as the customer base expands.

In addition to their professional roles, Chantal has pursued their passion for technology and cybersecurity through their involvement in the Angrynerds Podcast, where they serve as an Angrynerd.

Chantal Stekelenburg's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2017, they attended Hyper Island where they completed a traineeship (BSSA) in Experience Design.

Between 2009 and 2014, they studied at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Multimedia Design.

In 2008 and 2009, they also attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) and studied English, although they did not earn a degree in this field.

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they became a Certified Open Source Intelligence Expert® from Aware Online. Chantal also holds certifications as a Certified Open Source Intelligence Specialist (COS®) and a Certified Open Source Investigator (COI®) from the same institution, obtained in March 2021 and February 2021, respectively. Chantal also received additional certifications in August 2020, including CaseFile from OSINT-i1, Critical Pathway to Insider Risk from Signpost Six, and OSINT Mini from OSINT-i1.
