Somnath Mukherjee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate development and legal fields. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development at both Zerodha and Rainmatter since April 2017, Somnath has a solid background that includes prior roles as an Associate at Kapil Sapra & Associates and as a Management Trainee in Legal, Secretarial & Compliance at Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited. Somnath's legal expertise was further developed through internships at Nishith Desai Associates and IndusLaw. Somnath holds a BBA, LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and has completed the Professional Programme Examination from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
