Evan Smelser

Evan Smelser is a senior platform engineer with extensive experience in software development and operations. Currently at ZeroEyes since December 2024, Evan previously held senior engineering and reliability positions at Apex Fintech Solutions from October 2020 to November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a DevOps and software QA engineer at Jama Software (July 2017 - October 2020), a software DevOps intern at WebMD (January 2017 - June 2017), and a software development intern at Multnomah County (July 2016 - December 2016). Earlier in the career, Evan worked as a lead bartender at River Roadhouse from January 2012 to May 2016, and as an internet sales manager at Nissan of Portland from May 2011 to August 2012. Evan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Portland State University and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Portland Community College.
