Tom Fitzgerald

Tom joined ZeroFox in 2021 as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and is responsible for driving the legal strategy and helping to facilitate the growth. With over 25 years of experience as an attorney working with technology companies, and over 10 years representing primarily security vendors, Tom has a breadth of experience in commercial transactions, corporate development, data protection, and legal operations. From 2013 until 2020, Tom worked for Cisco Systems where he led a team of attorneys dedicated to Cisco’s Security Business Group. Tom also served as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Sourcefire (NASDAQ: FIRE) from 2009 until its acquisition by Cisco in 2013. In the first decade of his legal career, Tom worked at various national law firms in which his practice focused on corporate law and technology transactions for emerging growth technology companies. Tom earned a BA in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and a JD from American University in Washington, DC.
