Kat Stephens has worked in a variety of roles in the media and events industry since 2012. In 2012, they were an Intern at g3 Magazine, where they developed and created content for articles. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Assistant to the Editor at Reprobait Magazine, where they launched the magazine's Tumblr page and assisted with social media administration. Kat then moved to LATE Nation as a Social Media Assistant, where they lead social media engagement growth and crafted social media strategies. In 2015, Kat worked as an Event Assistant at SPM Group Ltd, where they assisted and handled event administration and supported the running of events. In 2016, they were an Administration & Events Executive at the European Diversity Awards, where they managed nominees' application processes and monitored, created and developed content. From 2017 to 2021, Kat worked at DIVA Magazine as an Events & Social Media Manager and at FACETS PR as a Social Media Intern. Most recently, they have been a Social Media & Community Manager at zeroheight, where they help UX teams scale effectively by allowing them to document their work and reuse each other's work.

Kat Stephens studied History of Art at Hampstead Fine Arts College from 2012 to 2014. Kat then attended The University of Edinburgh from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in History of Art. In 2015, they enrolled at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London and graduated in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Public Relations and Communication.
