Creative Director at ZeroLight

Helton Rosa has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Helton started as a Video Editor at Urso Filmes in 2010 before transitioning to the role of Motion Designer at Movimento Filmes in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Motion Designer at Nove90 and later became a Post Production Coordinator at Mandacarú Filmes.

In 2013, Helton joined Visual Farm where they were responsible for compositing, animation, and designing projects for video mapping projections. Helton then moved to Maianga Filmes Angola in 2014, where they worked on motion design, color grading, and compositing projects for Angolan government campaigns.

Helton continued their motion design work at Maianga Filmes Brasil in 2015, contributing to TV shows, movies, and TV ads for Brazil and Angola. In 2016, Helton worked as a Motion Designer at 511 Filmes before joining ZeroLight as a Senior Motion Graphics Designer later that year. At ZeroLight, they established and grew the in-house creative team and led the design of the company's brand guidelines, design system, website, and go-to-market campaigns.

In 2019, Helton was promoted to Creative Manager and led the successful creation of the award-winning Lucid Motors 3D car configurator. Helton also implemented new WFH workflows and facilitated creative workshops to improve client projects, securing contract extensions. Recently, they assumed the role of Creative Director at ZeroLight, leading the creation of the pioneer browser-native 3D camera animation tool, Take.

Before their career at ZeroLight, Helton worked as a Motion Designer Freelancer from 2010 to 2021, producing short films and music videos. Helton also led motion departments for political TV campaigns in various Brazilian cities and worked on color grading music videos.

Helton Rosa's education history includes completing a Master's Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at Escuela Trazos - Madrid from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they pursued an Open Course in Art/Art Studies, General at Esdip - Madrid, which lasted until 2010. Helton then attained an MBA in Administration from Universidade Salvador between 2006 and 2007. From 2001 to 2004, Helton Rosa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Social, with a focus on Publicidade e Propaganda, from Universidade Católica do Salvador. Helton completed their high school education at Instituto Social da Bahia from 1986 to 2000. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, Helton Rosa pursued online training in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects at fxphd. In 2017, they attended Inspiratorium for further studies in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, although no specific degree was specified.
