Raj Basavaraju

Raj Basavaraju has extensive experience in the technology industry, beginning with their role as Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at MP3.com in 2000. Raj then worked as a Senior Database Administrator at Musicmatch, Inc. in 2003, followed by roles as Senior Technical Architect at Avexus, Inc. and Chief Database Architect at EVDB, Inc. in 2004. In 2007, Raj co-founded Stage6 (DivX Inc Owned) and served as Technical Architect, helping to achieve an Alexa Top 100 Site status. In 2009, Raj founded Wildcard Network, Inc., where they were responsible for building and managing backend infrastructure, R&D, and multi-screen consumer experience. From 2011 to 2013, Raj was the Head of Engineering / Principal Solution Architect at Panelfly, Inc. Raj then worked as Senior Data/Solution Architect at QUALCOMM Inc. from 2015 to 2016. Raj is currently a Senior Principal Engineer/Architect at Cybric, where they are part of the team pioneering a cyber threats and vulnerabilities solution based on frameworks and tools such as Kafka, Spark, Couchbase, Mesos, Marathon, Chronos, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Packer, Terraform, Vault, and Docker containers along with machine learning techniques.

Raj Basavaraju began their education in 1986 at the National University of Singapore, where they obtained a M. Engg in Engineering. Raj then continued their studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering between 1989 and 1991. Raj also attended Malnad College of Engineering, although no degree or field of study was specified.
