Pier Paolo Biancalana

Pier Paolo Biancalana has a diverse range of work experience in finance and auditing. Pier Paolo started their career in 2015 at Artigiancredito Toscano, where they worked as a Collaborative Relationship officer, managing loan and mortgage applications for the company's clients. In 2017, Pier Paolo worked as a Waiter at Wahaca for a few months before transitioning to UHY BOMPANI in 2018. At UHY BOMPANI, they worked as an Audit Staff Accountant, primarily conducting audits for cooperative companies in the construction and service sectors. Pier Paolo also performed auditing work for reports on EU funding for research and development activities on behalf of universities. In 2019, Pier Paolo joined KPMG Italy as an Audit Staff Accountant, working on audit engagements for various industries, including Gas&Oil, Pharmaceutical, Tissue, Wines, and Manufacturing. Pier Paolo'sresponsibilities included preparing working papers, performing testing of audit areas, reviewing audit reports, and identifying control gaps. Most recently, Pier Paolo is employed at Marketplace Distri as a Financial Controller since September 2021, responsible for financial management and control. Pier Paolo will be joining Zerynth as a Financial Controller starting from January 2023.

Pier Paolo Biancalana completed their education at Università di Pisa. Pier Paolo first obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Economics/Management in 2017. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same university, where they completed a Master's degree in Auditing, Finance, and Control from 2017 to 2018. Lastly, in 2018-2019, they enrolled in a Master's degree program in Strategy, Management, and Control.
