Wasiq Haris

Wasiq Haris has worked in various roles in the design and technology industry since 2012. In 2012, they were a Graphics/Game Designer at Kolachi Advanced Technologies, where they were responsible for mobile UI design for AmFraser using photoshop. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Senior Game Designer at Cubix, Inc, where they supervised and created games, assisted in the creation of concept art for characters, environments and objects, and served as an animation consultant for both 2D and 3D games. In 2014, they were the Creative Director at AzCorp Entertainment Private Limited, where they managed the company's creative direction in providing quality comic book stories, developed marketing content and merchandising for MEFCC’14 and MEFCC’15, and successfully launched the company's products in both 2014 and 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Visiting Faculty Member at Iqra University. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Owner, Author and Illustrator at raatcomics, a volunteer project intended to inspire positive change. In 2018, they were a Website Designer at Cameron Concepts, tasked with designing a responsive website keeping with the agency’s brand and highlighting services through an interactive landing page. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Product Designer at eMiles, where they were responsible for liaising with product managers, business leads and IT teams to obtain and understand design and business requirements for Peanutlabs’ project emiles.com. In 2018, they were a UI/UX Designer at 24hours.pk, where they were responsible for a complete rebranding for the e-commerce site incorporating new business strategy. Since 2020, they have been a Product Designer at Quantifi, leading the product experience design and improvements to the various software applications while collaborating closely with the business, customer success, operations and tech teams. Wasiq is currently a Senior Product Designer at Zesty.ai, starting in 2022.

Wasiq Haris graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences from Iqra University in 2011, having studied Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects.
