Dan Winson has held a variety of roles in the technology and education sectors since 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they were an IT/Accounting Trainee at Bush & Campbell Pty Ltd. From 2002 to 2004, they were a Senior Technician at Computer Dencity. From 2004 to 2005, they were a System Engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation. From 2005 to 2010, they were the Owner/Manager of Leading Edge Electronics Wagga. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Teacher of Information Technology Networking, a Subject Matter Expert of Cyber Security, and a Project Manager at TAFE NSW. Since 2019, they have been the Founder & CEO of Zetifi, a company that has pioneered long-range Wi-Fi technology.
Dan Winson has an extensive educational background. Dan obtained a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University between 2000 and 2005. Dan then went on to obtain a Master of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University between 2008 and 2012. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications, including a CCNA Security Instructor from Cisco in April 2017, a Watchguard Fireware Essentials from WatchGuard Technologies in January 2016, a Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and a Mikrotik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) from Mikrotik in November 2015, a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) from Cisco in January 2015, a Diploma of Security and Risk Management (CPP50611) from Churchill Education in November 2013, an MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration from Microsoft in November 2013, an airMAX Certified Administrator from Ubiquiti Networks in May 2013, a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) from TAFE NSW in July 2012, a Network+ from CompTIA in December 2010, a Six Sigma Green Belt from CSC in September 2004, a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in September 2013, a CCNA Security from Cisco in August 2016, and a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (BSZ40198) from Sureway Employment and Training in June 2001.
