Venkatesh Viswanathan has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Venkatesh is currently working as the Vice President & Head of Commodity Trading at Zetwerk since December 2020. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2020, they worked at FlexiLoans where they held multiple positions, including Vice President (Head of Supply Chain Financing, Retailer Financing, and E-Commerce Financing) and Assistant Vice President (Head of Supply Chain Financing & Channel Partner Vertical).

Before joining FlexiLoans, Venkatesh co-founded CreditPeriod.com, which was later acquired by FlexiLoans. Venkatesh served as the Co-Founder from February 2015 to March 2017. During this time, they launched Epiflux.com, a B2B Raw Material Procurement Platform for SMEs, achieving orders worth Rs. 25 crores+ within 6 months and catering to customers across 3 states.

In 2012, Venkatesh founded Fintech Solutions and served as the Head of Financial Forensics Practice until February 2015. Venkatesh also worked as the Vice President of New Ventures at Zeal Group from May 2012 to January 2015.

Prior to these roles, Venkatesh gained experience as a Project Associate at Quetzal Verify Pvt Ltd from December 2010 to January 2011 and as a Summer Intern at ArcelorMittal in June and July 2010.

Throughout their career, Venkatesh has showcased their expertise in various domains such as commodity trading, supply chain financing, financial forensics, and new ventures.

Venkatesh Viswanathan earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology from 2008 to 2012. Venkatesh also obtained the CFA Level III certification in Finance and Financial Management Services from the CFA Institute from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their CBSE (12th Grade) education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Powai, Mumbai, from 2006 to 2008, and their ICSE (10th Grade) education at Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai, Mumbai, from 1992 to 2006.
