Daniel Gallo, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Daniel is currently the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Advocacy at Zevra Therapeutics, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at Jaguar Gene Therapy from 2022 to 2023. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Vice President and Head of US Medical Affairs at Orphazyme A/S. Before that, they worked as the US Medical Director for Complement Inhibitors at Sanofi Genzyme in 2020.

Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Loyola University Chicago in various roles related to clinical infectious diseases and immunology, as well as biology, from 2009 to 2012.

Daniel Gallo, PhD holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Northwestern University. Daniel also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
