Stefan Kolb has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Stefan is currently working as the Vice President of Scientific Affairs at Zevra Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Global Medical Director of Medical Affairs at Zevra Therapeutics from June 2022 to November 2022. Before joining Zevra Therapeutics, Stefan founded Curaxon Ltd in April 2020.

In their previous positions, they served as the Senior Global Medical Director of Lysosomal Storage Diseases at Orphazyme A/S from February 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they worked at Janssen Pharmaceutical - Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Global Medical Director of Specialty Care from July 2017 to November 2019, and at Actelion as a Senior Global Medical Director from January 2017 to June 2017.

Stefan's extensive experience in the medical field also includes roles at Pfizer, where they worked as the European Medical Manager of Neuroscience from November 2006 to October 2008, and as a Medical Advisor of CNS & Endocrine Care from May 2001 to October 2006.

Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Stefan gained experience in the academic sector. Stefan worked at University Hospital Zurich as the Head of Laboratory for Diagnostic Electronmicroscopy from June 1998 to April 2001. Prior to that, they served as a Research Assistant at the University Hospital Zurich, Department of Internal Medicine, Division Immunology from November 1996 to February 1998.

Stefan's early professional experiences include completing a Postgraduate Course in Experimental Medicine at University Zurich from March 1996 to October 1996, and working as a Research Assistant at the University of Zurich, Department of Anatomy from January 1994 to February 1996.

Stefan Kolb obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1992 from the University of Zurich, specializing in the field of Medicine.
