Benoît Waché

Benoît Waché is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Sales Director Japan at ZF Lifetec since August 2024, Benoît oversees a multi-hundred million Euros business related to airbags, seat belts, and steering wheels for Japanese customers globally. Prior to this role, Benoît held various positions at ZF Group from January 2006 to July 2024, including Sales Director for Passive Safety Systems and Chassis Systems, managing substantial global sales operations. Benoît also held engineering roles, such as Chief Engineer for ZF TRW Steering Japan and Technical Project Manager for Electric Power Steering systems, where responsibilities included product development and cross-regional coordination. Benoît's career began at Michelin as a Design Engineer focusing on winter tires and included a technical project at Dassault Aviation. Benoît holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanics from CentraleSupélec, École Centrale Paris.
