Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson combines over 25 years of construction and investment experience. Michael has worked to originate, develop, finance and asset manage over $1billion in projects. For the last ten years, he has focused primarily on solar investments completing over 35 transactions. He has organized and led three startup companies in the solar finance space. Michael began his career and worked 10 years as Vice President of the LA Johnson Construction Company where he developed and constructed projects for Fortune 500 companies and the United States Military. He then worked 10 years with the National Development Council providing investment banking services to non-profit clients around the country. Michael has taught finance classes and lectured on renewable energy for clients including Brown University, New York University and Stanford University. He is on the Board of Sustainable Napa County and Bay Area Development.

He received a Bachelor of Science from Alfred University and an MS from New York University. Michael received the Bart Lawson Award from New York University for Environmental Achievement in 2008.
