Tom Penders

Tom Penders currently serves as the Global Financial Controller at BCD Meetings & Events, starting in September 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing month-end close processes and promoting financial accuracy for strategic decision-making. Previously, Tom held the position of Financial Controller at BCD Meetings & Events, contributing to the development of a Business Intelligence (BI) environment in Power BI. Earlier experiences include working as an SAP BI Consultant at Heuschen & Schrouff Oriental Food, focusing on Business Intelligence solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI, and serving as Business Office Manager at Van Hoven Agro BV, as well as owning and managing businesses at Smakerij Maastricht and IJsmakerij Stella Gelato. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and has completed various accounting and culinary courses.
