Katie Schmitz

Katie Schmitz, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katie began their career at Landmark Credit Union in 2003, where they worked as a Teller II & New Accounts Representative until 2008. In 2010, they joined Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Associate and later moved into the role of Senior Associate in Transaction Advisory Services. In 2014, they were promoted to Manager in Transaction Advisory Services. Since 2014, Katie has been working at Ziegler, starting as Assistant Vice President in Private Equity and moving up to Vice President, Senior Vice President, and currently holds the position of Director | Head of Principal Investing & Fund Management.

Katie Schmitz, CPA, obtained a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree in Accounting from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution in 2009. Katie is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
