Freerk Broeyer

Freerk Broeyer, MD PhD, is a seasoned cardiologist with extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings. Currently serving as a member of the Professional Interests Committee at the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Cardiologie (NVVC) and practicing at Ziekenhuis Amstelland since July 2016, Freerk is also the treasurer of the Medical Specialist Association (MSB) Amstelland. Additional roles include representing the clinic for Stichting Pensioenfonds Medisch Specialisten and WCN, both from 2018 and 2019 respectively. Previous positions include a residency in cardiology at UMC Utrecht and several roles within prominent medical institutions. Freerk holds an MD from Utrecht University and a PhD from Leiden University, focusing on anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity.
